Boutique Matara is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of jewelry, money, electronic equipment, or other valuables left in the rooms. We highly recommend using the available safety deposit boxes.

Reservation, Payment, and Cancellation Policies

1. Reservation Confirmation

All reservations are considered confirmed only when Boutique Matara has received a deposit corresponding to 50% or 100% of the total value of the stay, depending on the selected rate. Upon receiving the payment, we will send a confirmation email that will serve as proof.

2. Payment Methods

We accept payments via bank transfers, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and cash. For charges in US Dollars (USD) paid in local currency (Soles - PEN), the Establishment's internal exchange rate on the day of payment will apply.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

The cancellation scheme depends on the type of rate booked:

Standard Rate (Flexible):

Cancellations requested more than 15 calendar days prior to the arrival date: 75% of the prepayment will be refunded (minus bank fees and commissions).

Cancellations between 14 and 7 calendar days prior to the arrival date: A penalty equivalent to the cost of the first night will apply, or 50% of the deposit will be retained.

Cancellations less than 7 days in advance: No refunds will be given, and 100% of the payment made will be retained.

Non-Refundable Rate (Promotional): Reservations under this rate do not allow modifications, cancellations, or refunds under any circumstances. The 100% charge is processed at the moment of booking.

4. No Show Policy

In the event that the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date (No Show) without prior notification, the reservation will be canceled and Boutique Matara will retain 100% of the payment received as a penalty, without the right to any claim or refund.

5. Reservation Modifications

Any request for modification (change of dates, room type) is subject to availability and potential rate variations. It must be requested in writing to the reservations email at least 7 days in advance.

6. Force Majeure

In verifiable cases of force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, or flight cancellations that prevent arrival in Cusco, Boutique Matara will evaluate the possibility of rescheduling the reservation without penalty (subject to availability and seasonality); however, no cash refunds will be issued if the cancellation falls within the penalty periods.
